Join us as we Walk for God, for Family, for Love
and for LIFE…January 26, 2019!
At The 15th Annual Walk for Life West Coast!
Join tens of thousands of your fellow pro-lifers of all ages, races, religions, and of no religion at all, as we Walk together in loving but uncompromising solidarity with the littlest and most defenseless among us!
This year we will be joined by internationally known pro-life and pro-chastity speaker Patricia Sandoval, who will share her gripping story of the journey from pain and fear to hope and life; by the Rev. Walter Hoye, founder and president of the Issues4Life Foundation, whose unjust imprisonment for exercising his First Amendment rights made him a worldwide hero to the pro-life movement; and by Fr. Shenan Boquet, President of Human Life International, who travels the world spreading the Gospel of Life.
And we want to be joined by YOU! Be there with your friends, your families, and your allies! Be there for the littlest among us! Be there for LIFE!

Great News! At the request of Archbishop Cordileone and his brother bishops the Vatican has declared an opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgence for those participating in the sacred celebrations related to the Walk for Life West Coast! Pope Francis has also given a Papal Blessing, which will be imparted by Archbishop Cordileone at the Mass in St. Mary’s Cathedral before the Rally and Walk.
The plenary indulgence can be obtained under the usual conditions by people in one of the following three categories:
1) attend the Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral before the WFL West Coast;
2) attend Mass related to the WFL West Coast in one of the SF Province dioceses (see list below), as well as other WFL related Masses in the parishes of the Archdiocese of San Francisco;
3) those who would like to attend but cannot for some serious reason (e.g., advanced age or illness) and join themselves spiritually to the Mass(es) being celebrated.
Dioceses included are:
Salt Lake City

To change the perceptions of a society that thinks abortion is an answer. Abortion does violence to women and to their children, both physically and emotionally. We deserve better than abortion.
To be a vocal and visual message that people of the West Coast stand for life. To reach out to women harmed by abortion. To inform society of the damage done to women by abortion.
What We Do
Peaceably protest abortion, walking through San Francisco every year on or near January 22, the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.
The time is always right to do what is right.
